Program Director Steve Atherton—a PGA Master Professional—provides personalized golf coaching to participants in the Golf Sports Medicine Program, which includes the use of force plates, video analysis, and Foresight’s GC Quad Launch Monitor and simulator system. Participants can choose a one-hour lesson or a two-hour session that includes swing improvement and a playing lesson on one of the golf simulator’s elite courses. After their lesson, participants receive videos from their lesson alongside customized instructions for their individual needs.
Participants seeking a more in-depth biomechanical profile can elect for golf instruction + motion analysis, which utilizes an innovative markerless motion screen or the SPRI Biomotion Lab’s integrated Qualisys system. This system provides unmatched movement analysis by placing reflective markers in strategic spots on the body and capturing their precise movement with over 20 infrared cameras.
Golf Club Fitting is an additional offering for participants looking to try new golf equipment or assess their current club selections. The SPRI Golf Sports Medicine is an official club fitter for TaylorMade and Mizuno, including Mizuno's latest custom fitting system with shaft optimizer.
