Jeff Groton
Vice President of Finance
Jeff Groton serves as Vice President of Finance for Steadman Philippon Research Institute (SPRI), where he oversees the organization's financial strategy, operations and administrative functions. Since joining SPRI in 2020 as Controller, he has played a key role in strengthening financial systems, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting SPRI's continued growth. He was promoted to Vice President of Finance in September 2025.
Jeff brings more than 30 years of nonprofit leadership experience spanning finance, human resources, administration and operations. Before joining SPRI, he held senior leadership positions with several national nonprofit organizations, where he led strategic planning, financial management, technology initiatives and organizational development.
Prior to his career in nonprofit leadership, Jeff served in the United States Air Force as a Command and Control Specialist. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Salisbury University.
